They are almost indistinguishable in terms of style or overall structure, so the easiest way to recognize them is through music and dance. The one I liked best was the duet between Bar Jackman and Zac Efron, in which Barnum makes friends with Barnum - at the expense of Barnum's social dignity. The dancing on the tables and between the rows looked like something out of a classic musical from years ago. This made the biggest impression on me.

I spent a lot of time pointing out that this was a time when interracial couples didn't get along well, and I wish it had gone further, but it was a fun story. Don't get me wrong, I had fun, but I had high expectations that I couldn't live up to.

Rebecca Ferguson, the opera's main character

The same can be said about the character of Rebecca Ferguson, the opera's main character. When I first sang the song, I thought, 'Rebecca Ferguson is singing in an opera.' But it turned out that wasn't the case. I feel that pop music can be about anything. I don't remember whether or not she was a good singer, but my main impression was that the style was unsatisfying.
